S.O.C. (Servants Of Christ) Class
The focus of the S.O.C. (Servants of Christ) class is based on John 15:7-8 which exhorts us to abide in Christ and let His Word abide in us, so that our lives bring glory to God by bearing fruit for the Kingdom and showing ourselves to be His disciples. Week by week, we focus on a short, selected passage of Scripture, encouraging memorization and meditation on it through the week, followed by discussion of it in our Sunday morning class.
An important part of our class session, however, is also spent in interaction with each other as we seek to encourage one another and spur each other on toward love and good works:
"And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near." Hebrews 10:24-25
