Children ages 3 years to 3rd grade are invited to attend Junior Church during the worship service.  When prompted, the children go to the back of the sanctuary from where they are taken to a separate classroom for children's activities.  After worship service, they return to the sanctuary.

Proactively, if bad weather is forecast, put the following warning in the Looking Ahead email:

Instructions for Highland Park attendees in the event of bad weather:

If there is snow or ice, please watch your television (KKTV Channel 11, KOAA Channels 5/30, KRDO Channel 13) or listen to the radio (KTLF-FM 90.5, KBIQ-FM 102.7, KVOR-AM 740) to see if Highland Park has cancelled services.  Also, there will be an email sent as soon as the decision is made. (If you are not on the email list, and wish to be, this might be a good time to take care of that by calling the church office!)  If you do not have email, please be sure to watch your television, listen to the radio or call a friend from church.  We will attempt to give you fair warning the day before if possible, but we do live in Colorado…….

Most importantly, please use your own best judgment when making decisions about getting out in bad weather.   If it looks icy and dangerous, plan to stay home safe and sound.  Even if you have an important job that day; it isn’t worth your safety to drive on bad roads.
