Real Worship

by Warren Wiersbe

Warren Wiersbe  invites us to consider worship as Wonder, Witness, Warfare, and Wisdom. The author probes deeply into what makes our worship both Biblical and Christian. He gives us constructive principles that can be applied to make our worship a transforming experience, whatever the style.

Lifestyle Evangelism

by Joe Aldrich

lifestyleBeing a witness for Christ isn't always easy.  As believers, we are called to be "fishers of men."  But many Christians struggle with sharing their faith.  And as people today become more guarded and less open, it can sometimes be difficult to find opportunities to witness.

Christians worry about saying the wrong thing; yet it is true that "actions speak louder than words," especially when it comes to witnessing.  And relationships are critical to building bridges of trust between believers and those who do not know Christ.

While most of us are naturally drawn to other believers, it is vital that we not separate ourselves from those who need our witness the most.  Christ himself made a special point of socializing with nonbelievers.

If we are to be like him, we must follow his example by showing men and women outside the church how much we care.  The most natural way to show Christ in your life is by becoming someone's friend and building a relationship that can be powerfully used by God.

Worship Is a Verb

by Robert Webber

Webber offers eight principles for transforming our worship. He wants us to think of worship as an active verb, rather than a passive noun. Webber also wants us to take away from this book the need for worship to become a way of life for us all.

Worship His Majesty

by Jack Hayford

Before reading this book, Hayford asks for you to sing through the song "Worship His Majesty." As Hayford searched the Scriptures for "majesty," his view of worship was transformed. In this book he comes to a Biblical balance between the contemporary setting and the historical setting. Regardless of the style, he points out that participation is the key. They--we--need to be part of worshiping His majesty.
