Grafted Youth Group

  The vision of Higland Park and Grafted Youth is to first grow our future leaders spiritually and then allowing deep friendships to grow into ways of getting deep with our peers...making disciples to make disciples.

  Everyone in middle and highschool is welcome to attend. Grafted has "get out" Sundays, where we leave the church building for some community and friendship building time. For example we are doing a study on the fruits of the spirit and this month's topic is kindness. What we did was go to the local mall and did random acts of kindness, holding doors for people, folding clothes in department stores etc...we headed over to McDonalds and got ice cream cones for our kids then paid for the poeple behind us in line and last headed for Little Caesers for 7 $5 pizza's and headed for the local skate park and handed out free slices to all 30 plus kids that were there. Just putting our faith into action.
